Mona and Kyle’s journey began with a swipe, a modern love story sparked online that led them to a charming sushi date. Five years later, their unwavering connection brought them to the breathtaking coast of Carmel, CA, where they exchanged vows at The Hyatt Carmel Highlands.
The proposal, set against the scenic backdrop of the Ozarks on a Christmas morning, was nothing short of magical. Kyle’s heartfelt question along the river bend left Mona in shock, and a resounding “YES” marked the beginning of their journey to the wedding day. On the morning of the wedding, clouds and rain painted the coastal sky, but nothing could dampen the joy emanating from The Hyatt Carmel Highlands. The bridal party’s preparations buzzed with excitement, and as Mona approached Kyle for their first look, tears and kisses captured the pure essence of their love. The ceremony unfolded with the sun breaking through the clouds, waves crashing in the distance, and a cello playing softly. Mona’s entrance was a showstopper, evoking tears of happiness and creating waves of laughter throughout the ceremony. Against the stunning backdrop, the couple exchanged vows & sealed it with the perfect first kiss!
After the ceremony, we escaped the crowd and drove down the road to capture Mona & Kyle’s portraits and the beautiful cliff side views that Carmel has to offer! Mona and Kyle ended their beautiful wedding day by dancing into the night, surrounded by the love and warmth of family and friends! Cheers to a stunning wedding day & a lifetime of adventures together!
