San Francisco Engagement Session | Mike & Amy

You know the saying you never know who you’re sitting next to? Well nothing could be more true for Mike and Amy! During their sophomore year of high school, their history teacher sat them next to each other based on their last names. Little did they know, this would be the start to a long lasting friendship, relationship and now soon to be marriage! After a few years of friendship, Mike finally found the courage to ask Amy to prom and the rest is history! They spent a few years living apart from one another as they pursued their education, however in 2013 they decided to bring their lives together and settle into life in San Francisco.

It was Amy’s love for the Palace of Fine Arts that helped them fall in love with their new life in the Bay Area, so Mike new this was the best spot to finally pop the big question! On Amy’s birthday they made plans to meet up with friends at the Presidio Off the Grid, but Mike decided to take a quick detour with Amy to the Palace of Fine Arts! Although Amy was questioning his path to dinner, she had no idea what was coming her way! Mike dropped to his knee and proposed to Amy with his mothers ring and of course it was a big YES from Amy!

When it came to planning their engagement session, we obviously had to honor their love for SF and the Palace of Fine Arts!

Thank you Mike & Amy for allowing me to be a part of this amazing time in your life! I can’t wait for your wedding next May!
