Downtown San Francisco Engagement Session

Talk about the best idea for an engagement session! When Irene and Zach started planning their engagement session they talked about really being true to who they are as a couple and honoring their love story. San Francisco is their home and where they spend each and every day together and I love that we captured that!

One of their favorite things to do is go out to eat and try new spots in the Hayes Valley District! We started their session at Chez Maman! Irene and Zach ordered some delicious fries to share and some champagne to toast! Feeding your photographer mid shoot…big win! After we filled our bellies and took some fun shots we strolled down the street to their favorite bar, ANINA. We got pretty lucky that they know the owner and they let us have the place to ourselves for their session! They ordered some fun drinks and shared so many fun memories about their nights at ANINA! We took a quick pit stop at Rye Bar SF which is where they met on their first date! We couldn’t finish this iconic San Francisco session without a trip to the Golden Gate Bridge. Irene and Zach picked up their adorable pup, Apple, and we headed to Golden Gate Park for a few sunset snaps. They braved the Bay Area wind and chill and even celebrated with a fun champagne pop!

Thank you Irene & Zach for allowing us to be a part of your wedding story and having so much celebrating your engagement session!

I am so excited for their wedding at Park Winters next year!
